Brethren the time is sort, and we do not know what we shall be, but we know that when we see him we shall be, like him, for we shall see him as he is, so may we pray as we wait for his soon coming, "even so come Lord Jesus".

Throughout the summer and fall we have several preaching engagements in Bible conferences and fellowship meetings, we would ask that you pray for our endeavors, that we could bless those Pastors and churches for which we preach.

In the month of April we were able to attend and I preached in the conference at Home Baptist Church in MT. Morris Michigan. We surely were blessed with a wonderful time of preaching and fellowship. This is surely one of the great conferences in all our land and we are thankful to Home Baptist Church and Pastor Dan Gordon for their effort to bless us in the Lord.

Thelma is doing great with encouraging the Sisters of Faith Baptist Church and working in her hobby of quilting which occupies a lot of her time. Best of all she takes wonderful care of me.

The Lord lets us stay as busy as possible with helping our Pastor , and supply preaching as the Lord affords us opportunity. With the special love and care that Thelma gives me and spending the required amount of time indoors studying and working on sermons I have not had to turn down very many engagements to preach.

Things with us are going well, with no major break downs in our health at this time, for which we praise the Lord. I do suffer more in the spring with C.O P. D more than at other times due to all the pollen that is about.

Greetings to you in the name of our blessed Savior of whom King Solomon wrote in Song of Songs 5: 16 his mouth is most sweet; yea he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. He stated in the Gospel of John, '^the calls us not slaves but friends for a slave knoweth not what his Lord doeth. Thank God he is my friend and sticks closer to me than a brother.
