April  2018 REPORT

Dear Pastor and Church,

Psa. 100.4-5 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. We send you greetings in the gracious and glorious name of our Blessed Redeemer the Lord Jesus Christ!

Please excuse my tardiness in corresponding this month as my computer has crashed on me on two different occasions. Hopefully I have it sorted now.

We as a congregation continue to spread the glad tidings of the gospel to our community and county. Last month one of our members witnessed to a young man from Romania. This young man though he speaks English quite well does not read English. Our sister church in Bosca Romania was gracious enough to send us some very sound literature in the Romanian language which has been given to this young man. We also had the opportunity to speak at length with an elderly lady from Crosshaven. She used to attend a Baptist Union church but is now mixed up in the Charismatic movement.

Our congregation also had the privilege of partaking of the Lord’s Supper during April. It is always a very special time for us to remember our Saviour’s crucifixion for our redemption. We believe the unleavened bread and wine represents Christ’s broken body and shed blood for our redemption.

Bro Muller has been back in services since 15 April. He is recovering quite well and will have to see his surgeon at the six week mark following his surgery. At that point the doctor will determine if Bro Muller can drive and return to work. Also at this time he will probably have to undergo some physiotherapy. We covet your prayer for his continued recovery.

We also have some good news concerning our housing needs. My daughter, Leta, has recently found a house where she is the high bidder. The house is located locally which will make it quite convenient concerning her travel to work. The next step is to close on the house and begin the paper work of legally getting the property in her name. We are quite elated as Leta has been out bid on three other homes. The time consuming process of obtaining housing was beginning to be a bit discouraging. Lord willing we hope to have more definite news next month. We sincerely appreciate all of the prayer concerning our
housing needs.

Brethren, we thank you for your prayer for us and the Lord’s work here in Ireland. We do pray that the Lord will bless as you evangelise the lost and edify the saved through the proclamation of God’s holy Word.

By His Sovereign Grace,

Bro Robert Ellis, Pastor
