March 2018 REPORT
Dear Pastor and Church,
Psa. 96.2-3 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. We send you greetings in the name of our Sovereign Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! We do pray all of you are well and rejoicing in the finished work of our Blessed Redeemer!
The congregation continues with the work of evangelism here in county Cork. Our members have recently had the privilege of giving the gospel to a man from Romania and also presenting Christ to three Muslim men. All were given literature which they received with much interest. Tracts were also distributed in the areas of Sallybrook and Glanmire. We covet your prayer for us as we continue to sow the gospel of grace in our city and county.
Attendance during March was good despite some lingering coughs among a few members. We are thankful to the Lord for the faithfulness of our members. It is a great joy to pastor individuals who not only desire to learn the Scriptures but also put into practice what they have learned.
Bro Muller had his surgery on March 22. The surgery went quite well and he was discharged the following Monday (26th). He has since begun the healing process which his surgeon says will take six weeks time. Because his surgery was major he is unable to physically attend the meetings. We have been recording the services on DVD so he can view them at home. We are going to endeavour to Skype the services directly to his computer beginning Sunday April 8th. Please pray for Bro Muller as he is by nature a very active man and not use to being idle.
My brethren, we do appreciate all of the prayer for us and the Lord’s work here in Cork. Our sincere thanks for the gracious generosity of those who assist us financially. May the Lord richly bless you for your sacrifice of time in corresponding with us. Your cards and emails are always a source of encouragement. Let us not be weary in well doing. May the Lord richly bless.
By His Sovereign Grace,
Bro Robert Ellis, Pastor
