January 2018 REPORT
Dear Pastor and Church,
1Cor. 11.26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
We send you greetings in the sovereign name of Christ Jesus our Lord. We do pray that you and your congregation are well and walking in the light of His blessed Word!
January was a blessed month for us here at Grace. The congregation partook of the Lord’s Supper. This is always a very special service for us. To come to our Redeemer’s table and partake of the elements He instituted for the remembrance of His broken body and shed blood reminds us graphically that our salvation though free to us cost a tremendous price.
We have begun a study in the book of Colossians. The study of the Person and work of Christ will enable our members to witness more effectively to those involved in the cults and Catholicism as well. Several of our members have become quite active in assisting in the distribution of gospel literature. It is a joy to witness the growth of saints in the work of evangelism.
We do covet your earnest prayer for Bro Cornel Muller. He and his family are a real asset to this work. Bro Cornel is scheduled to have his right hip replaced in approximately seven weeks time. It is my understanding that he will be hospitalised for a minimum of five days following the surgery. He will also be restricted from driving his car for at least six weeks after this procedure.
Our sincere thanks to those who have been praying for my wife concerning her early retirement. She was granted her retirement from An Post effective on Friday February 2nd.
We also request your continued prayer for us as we seek suitable housing. At present there is an acute housing shortage in Ireland. We continue to seek God’s will in this matter.
Our sincere gratitude to all who correspond with us and hold us before the throne of grace.
May the Lord richly bless as you preach the unsearchable riches of Christ Jesus our Lord!
By His Sovereign Grace,
Pastor Robert Ellis
